I recently posted that the Obama campaign said they couldn’t afford to give a few freebies to the Girl Scouts. It’s also been widely posted that Obama refused to share the wealth with the down ticket Democrats.
Now it seems they can’t even supply their own campaign headquarters.
A post showed up on the Milwaukee CraigsList Board requesting basic items such as pens, water and crayons. Oh, they also want “diversity photos”. LOL The ad has been removed but a quick thinking person took a screen shot.
It seems the Harlem office is having the same problems, except they need some larger items such as chairs, computer keyboards, computer monitors, desktop computers, file cabinets, printers and rugs.
If I was one of the people that donated my hard earned money to Obama, I would be very suspicious.

As a Obama supporter and a supporter of the Harlem 4 Obama group I’ve had several conversations with members of the group.
I didn’t ask, but it came up in conversation that the money collected goes to/will be going to television advertising.

Hello April,
I’m glad you stopped by. I know all of you are dedicated to helping your candidate. On my end, I’ve been hearing about situations where the Obama campaign is leaving it’s supporters to buy their own supplies and it send up a red flag for me. I know how tough times can be and I hate to see people possibly getting ripped off.
Obama is lucky to have supporters like you.

I actually wondered where the money was going too but since the election is sooooooooo close, I understand him being conservative with his donations.
Interestingly enough, I didn’t always support him. I had to learn and as I slowly became a supporter, I’ve been continuously impressed with what he’s said/done during the campaign.
At this point, I don’t second guess anything. It’s the kind of situation where if you’re not one of the inside strategist, you really don’t know what’s going on and why decisions are made.
