As a Libertarian, I try to listen to multiple views of the main stream media outlets. This way I get a good feel of what both sides think and feel about the issues. Over the years, especially since the last presidential election in 2008, I noticed how the left is very one-sided and doesn’t give you all the fact (if any at all). It’s gotten to the point that the right-wing media outlets are doing the same now.

If you’re paying attention to the GOP primary, you’ve had to have noticed how FOX News is only looking and talking about the candidates that they want to profile and push forward in the primary. Look at the treatment that they are giving to Senator Ron Paul. Last week he polled the second highest in the Iowa straw poll, only 0.9% behind Michelle Bachmann and FOX hasn’t even given him the respect he deserves from finishing that well.

The Bias media, no matter what view they have should not be conducting themselves in this manner. I understand when it comes to the opinionated shows like Hannity, O’Reilly and Matthews will interject with their thoughts and opinions. That’s OK, but when you have news programs on these same stations doing it also, it wrong. News programs are to give you the facts, all the fact, so you can make you’re own intelligent decision.

It’s gotten to the point where I can’t even watch any of these programs. It started shortly after the last election in 2010. Only a few months after Marco Rubio took office in Washington, he was invited to be interviewed on the Sean Hannity show. When Rubio was introduced, Sean’s first question to him was…”So are you going to run for president in 2012?” Rubio clearly stated that he was just elected to office and for the next six years, he will be dedicated to that job, not running for another. During the entire eight minute interview, the host continued to ask his guest about running for president. We have real issues going on in America and the last thing we should be asking any public official is if they are going to run for another position. Let’s ask them about what they’re doing with the job they already have.

He is another incident where the media is out of control. Rick Perry decided to run for president last Saturday. On Monday, Rush Limbaugh was praising him as the true representative of the Republican party. How is that so? Rush clearly knows Perry’s voting record and should be telling us how he wants to give tuition to illegal immigrants as well as being for amnesty and the DREAM Act. On that information alone, conservatives and republicans shouldn’t even consider Perry in the primary. Why is it that the right wing refuses to see the quality in Senator Ron Paul and Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann? To be that would be the perfect ticket out of the clowns that are currently in the race.
As for the left-leaning media, when are they going to admit that Obama has failed this country and doesn’t deserve to run again. As a matter of fact, Congressman Bernie Sanders (D-Vt) has been pushing to run in a primary against Obama and not one of these Democratic supportive stations won’t even mention it.

Since President Obama has taken on challenge of running for office, he’s been shown obvious favoritism from the main stream media. Only FOX News Channel has been negative towards Obama in any way. I will say that they(FOX) are very against the current Administration.

It now gotten to the point where the media is outright in the open with their relationship with Obama. ABC will be airing Obama’ speech titled “Prescription for America”. The purpose is for him to explain his plans for nationalized health care. While reading the Drudge Report, I found this article about how ABC won’t let a organization buy some air-time after the broadcast so they can give an alternative viewpoint. You can read it for yourself here.

I also heard today how Obama will be “making his rounds” on many different shows to get his health care message out to the people. Of course he’s being selective of who will be broadcasting it. One of the ways he’ll be doing so is by having some sort of involvement with the show “Dora the explorer”. That’s right, a cartoon. It has been stated that FOX will not be given that option and the reason is because o the fact that FOX is not a financial network. All of this is still being hashed out and I will continue to follow this atrocity.

From Fox News:

The interview — conducted by Chicago Public Radio in 2001, while Obama was an Illinois state senator and a law professor at the University of Chicago — delves into whether the civil rights movement should have gone further than it did, so that when “dispossessed peoples” appealed to the high court on the right to sit at the lunch counter, they should have also appealed for the right to have someone else pay for the meal.

In the interview, Obama said the civil rights movement was victorious in some regards, but failed to create a “redistributive change” in its appeals to the Supreme Court, led at the time by Chief Justice Earl Warren. He suggested that such change should occur at the state legislature level, since the courts did not interpret the U.S. Constitution to permit such change.

The 2001 interview evokes recent questioning by Joe “The Plumber” Wurzelbacher, the Ohio man who asked Obama about his proposal to raise taxes on people making more than $250,000. Obama told Wurzelbacher he wants to hike taxes on the wealthy so that the government can spread the wealth.

Good for Fox News for not bowing down to this jackass.

It seems about three months ago, Barack Obama met with Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes. Ailes says Obama “expressed concern” (which means he was whining) about the way Fox News was covering him. “I just wanted to know if I’m going to get a fair shake from Fox News Channel,” Ailes recalled him saying.

Yeah, like the “fair shake” CNN and MSNBC are giving McCain and Palin.

Ailes said he tried to clear the air with the Democratic senator by saying that his organization was determined to be fair but would not be “in the tank” for Obama’s campaign like MSNBC and CNN. . He told Barackstar Obama “”Senator, you’re the one who boycotted us. We’re not the ones who boycotted you”.

After turning down their invitations for months, Obama now plans to appear on Bill O’Reilly, the very same night that John McCain delivers his acceptance speech at the Republican convention. All that does is make Obama appear nervous and wanting to claim some of the spotlight for himself that night. I remember CNN and MSNBC being all over McCain the day before Obama’s speech at the DNC, saying that if McCain introduced his vice president pick on the same day Obama gave his speech, it would be a desperate attempt to get some coverage.
Well, well, well. McCain didn’t do that, did he?
Barackstar Obama did.
Pathetic.

Update: From Bill O’Reilly’s website: “Self-deprecatingly calling himself “a pawn,” O’Reilly said on Wednesday night’s program that the timing of the interview was dictated by the Obama campaign.

Like I said….pathetic.
