The thought of Barack Obama at Ground Zero yesterday makes me sick. Personally, I feel it was all just a publicity stunt for him. “Look at me-see how much I love my country”.
Then I see his wife Michelle “American Is Mean” Obama wasn’t there either. Seems she had time to campaign for her husband this week though. It shouldn’t come as a surprise though. Back in February she said “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I’m really proud of my country”. Nice to know she wasn’t proud of her country on September 11, 2001 and the aftermath that followed.
How could you not be proud of the thousands of volunteers from the NYC area, including my husband and from the rest of the country?
How could you not be proud of the men and woman who put themselves in harms way to save others?
How could you not be proud of New Yorks Bravest (FDNY) and New York’s Finest (NYPD)?
First Lady? I don’t think so.
