The Truth About Gun Laws And Restrictions

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
The second amendment of the Bill Of Rights.

Our fore fathers knew the only way for the citizen of the United States of America to protect themselves was to be able to have the right to own and carry firearms. It was also the fact that since the newly formed country didn’t have a standing army, so they needed to make sure of a way to keep the country safe.

George Washington once said
“A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.”

Tyranny is something that every government in history has been known to do. With it’s citizen having the right to protect themselves, government doesn’t have the ability to control and/or suppress it’s people.

The truth of the matter is the reason for all these guns laws being written is for one clear reason, for those who are willing to open their eyes and see… CONTROL.

Controlling the American people is what our politicians are trying to do. Enacting guns laws will not have anyone obeying them except the law-biding citizens. It’s been proven over the years that these laws have not made the cities any safer. Look at Washington DC, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles, these cities have many laws on the books against owning or carrying a firearm, but yet these city’s crime rates have gone up since these laws were put into effect.

Passing new legislation against owning weapons will not change any thing for the better. Look at the Virginia Tech, the Aurora Colorado killings and now the Shady Hook school massacre. All of these shootings happened at places where guns were not allowed. While Colorado have laws allowing it’s citizens to carry concealed weapons, the movie theater was a “gun free zone”. The shooters, in each of these cases, knew what they were doing. They wanted to have no resistance when they started to open fire. These shooters are cowards and had mental/emotional issues and they didn’t care about any laws.

These politicians in Washington, namely Obama and his cronies, are using this latest attack in Connecticut to push their agenda to remove our second amendment rights from us. Playing on our heart strings over the loss of lives to make the average citizen to agree with what they are trying to do. Unfortunately, too many Americans watch the main stream media circus and are brain-washed into believing that the politicians motives are genuine.

I’m here to tell you that we need to protect our rights from tyrannical politicians. Don’t be fooled by their smooth words and their phony acts of sincerity. As long as we have our weapons we have freedom, without them we have tyranny. Contact your representative and let them know that we have the right to keep and bear arms and we refuse to give them up.

Florida Governor Race 2014

We are currently in an election cycle once again (there always seems to be one going on). This year being the midterm elections with the control of the U.S. Congress up in the air. Who knows how that will play out, but here in Florida, we have the Governor race going on between Rick Scott (R), Charlie Crist (D) and Adrian Wyllie (L).

This year is quite different from other races we’ve had in this state. Two of the candidates have already held the office they are competing for. Rick Scott currently is in the Governor’s office. To become Governor, Scott had made some alliances with corporations and in return would help those corporations (typical political move). Elected in 2010 Gov. Scott beat out Charlie Crist who was in office from 2007-2011. When Crist was in office, he was a Republican. During his time in office he switched party affiliation and became an Independent. Crist is now running as a Democrat (he just can’t make up his mind).

So in the last eight years these two candidates have been in charge of running Florida. Unfortunately Florida isn’t in any better condition than when Jeb Bush left office. There have been way too many political alliances made during their terms as Governor. As long as candidates from one of the two major political parties hold this office, nothing will ever change except for taxes to continue to go up and better paying jobs will continue to go elsewhere.

So the good news is this year we have another choice. Adrian Wyllie, Libertarian candidate is also on the ballot. The media makes sure you don’t know much about him so here’s a link to Wyllie’s About page to learn more. The man offers great leadership skills as well as a proven track record. His plans on reining in the government spending are sound and will in turn give the state a balanced budget. Neither of the other two candidates have been able to accomplish that task. We need to break the cycle of crony-capitalism if we are to move ahead economically. Voting for Adrian Wyllie would be the best choice when you sit down a look it all.

Wyllie has four points to his promise to Florida:

*I will dramatically cut the size and scope of state government, reduce regulation, and eliminate property tax for all Florida homeowners.
*I will keep government out of your wallet, your bedroom, your body, and your business.
*I will veto any legislation that infringes upon your economic freedom or personal liberty.
*I will defend ALL of your inalienable, Constitutional rights from an overbearing federal government.

I’ve added links into this post for all three of the candidates. Look over what each of them are offering and see for yourself. Rick Scott and Charlie Crist have spent millions of dollars on their campaigns. All of their TV ads attack the other candidate instead of talking about what they have already done for the state. That alone should send red flags to every voter out there. The Wyllie campaign has raised a tiny fraction of that and has already grown in the polls over the past few weeks leading into the final stretch of the race. Wyllie’s growing number have caused Scott and Crist to do everything to keep him out the media and the debates. They know he has been polling well and with him in the debates would mean certain doom for both of them.

This year we have several Libertarian candidates running for office in Florida. he are their names and links to their sites for you to do your research.

Bill Wohlsifer for Attorney General

Lucas Overby for U.S. House of Representatives Dist. 13

Omar Recuero for Florida House Dist 100

Tony Caso for State Senate Dist 20

I will come clean right now as to the fact that I am actively campaigning on Wyllie’s team. It has never been a secret that I am a Libertarian and this website is a strong supporter of the Libertarian movement. As I did in 2010 while helping Alex Snitker on his bid for U.S. Senate seat (which was won by Marco Rubio, I am doing for Adrian Wyllie. Oddly enough, Charlie Crist also ran in that Senate race and we saw how bad he did in that election.
